About these terms

These terms apply when you buy from unpedacitodeella.com, operated by Un Pedacito De Ella. By placing an order you accept them.

Products

Everything we sell is made by hand in small batches. That means no two pieces are identical. Colour, shape and finish vary slightly from one item to the next and from the photographs on this site. That variation is a feature of handmade work, not a fault, and is not grounds for a return on its own.

We try to photograph colours accurately, but screens differ. If exact colour matching matters for your event, message us before ordering.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars and may change. The price you pay is the price shown at checkout. Taxes are calculated at checkout where applicable.

Payment is taken at the time of order through WooPayments. Your order is not confirmed until payment clears.

Orders

We may decline or cancel an order — for example if an item is out of stock, if a price was listed in error, or if we cannot ship to your address. If we cancel an order you have paid for, you get a full refund.

Custom orders

Custom and event orders are quoted individually and arranged directly with Linda.

• A quote is confirmed before anything is made
• A deposit may be required to hold your date; this is confirmed in your quote before anything is made
• Because they are made specifically for you, custom orders are final and cannot be returned or exchanged
• Dates are held on a first-come basis once a deposit is paid

Shipping and risk

Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees, and we do not control carrier delays. See Shipping & Returns for what we do if something arrives damaged.

Safety — candles

Candles are an open flame and are your responsibility once they are in your home.

• Never leave a burning candle unattended
• Keep away from children, pets, and anything that can catch fire
• Burn on a heat-resistant, stable surface
• Stop use when about 10mm (half an inch) of wax remains
• Clay and glass vessels get hot — do not move a lit or recently lit candle

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for damage or injury caused by misuse of a candle.

Safety — soaps

For external use only. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. If you have sensitive skin or allergies, check the ingredients before use —

Intellectual property

The photographs, text and designs on this site belong to us. Please don’t reuse them commercially without asking.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
